Reproduction German artillery soldier's porcelain keepsake box. Graphics of a late 1800s / early 1900s cannoneer. The unit on the lid is 5 Bayer. Feld. Art. Rgt. Landau. The inside reads "Kanonendonner ist unser Gruß" (The thunder of cannons is our greeting). These were originally made as keepsake boxes for a soldier's time in the service (to store any medals, awards, etc), but could also be used as a sweetheart piece. Brand new in great condition.
