Colorful Plaid Skirt Suit

Vintage 1930s / 1940s beautiful colorful plaid skirt suit with belt.

Waist - 26"

SKIRT:
Waist - 25"
Hips - 35"
Length - 30"

Taffeta material. Nice pockets on the top. The top is marked size 9. The belt is handmade - it seems just a little bit long, but can easily be resewn if needed. Side metal zipper on the skirt.

OK condition with flaws. There is some staining and wear under both arms. The back has some staining / yellowing. Light discoloration on the shoulders. No attempt has been made to launder this. Some pulls in the material. A few small scattered stains. The snap at the waist is loose and needs restitched. The side seam on the skirt has come open toward the bottom (it looks like a slit in the skirt, but I don't think it was meant to be there). Hopefully someone can save it or wear it as-is; it is such a cute and flattering outfit!

NOTE: After I photographed it, I found the original belt. I am including the original belt (which has a fair amount of damage) and the belt in the photos.
