Description
Small blue Bakelite Cosmos Seife Guthmann's Die Allerbeste f.d. Teint traveling soap container. This is early post war, from the late 40's into the 50's. We have seen ground dug aluminum versions of these coming out of Russia, so the style is right. I couldn't find any information about when exactly the company switched to Bakelite/plastic from the aluminum version. The company has been around since before WWI.
It is in good condition. It is a rather small container, measuring about 2 1/4" by 1 1/2".
