Description
Vintage wartime or prewar hand painted set of wedding toast glasses for the bride and groom (Braut and Bräutigam). They show some age but are still quite nice. I wouldn't have any issue cleaning them and using them. This is a very German thing: hand painted glasses like this were common for a great many events, weddings, anniversaries, retirements, sporting events, vacations and even souvenirs from WWI. It would then serve as a nice reminder of the occasion. The gold on trim shows wear. The capacity on the side is written rather oddly: 5/20 L.
