Description
Original wartime German briefcase in very good condition. This style of briefcase started popping up in the 30's and rapidly replaced the older more simplistic cases. The style has since become rather timeless and was produced for many decades and I am sure still made by some manufacturers. This one has the typical embossed veiny pattern which you often can make out in original war time pictures.
There are a few stains and light wear but it is in remarkably good condition. The zipper pocket has a D.R.P. Nurnberg ZIPP brand zipper. I would keep this one for myself, but I already have one with silver toned latches, which is more my style. You often see German soldiers with briefcases, it seems to have been a rather popular item to take with you into the army.
