Description
Original silk printed German Italian scarf. Its very festive looking. The printing is not aligned too well, there are some thin gaps between printed blocks. It is is in very good condition, but is a little wrinkled. This is most likely pre-war, from the late 1930s. It might be related to a specific event, but I am not sure what that would have been exactly. I have heard it was for Mussolini visiting Germany and I have heard it was a souvenir item sold in Germany and Italy. There were very similar scarves made for the Olympics, but if this was one of those I would expect it to have the Olympic rings on it.
