Vintage 1940s / 1950s folk print dress.
MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
Bust - 49"
Waist - 48"
Hips - free
Length - 43 1/4"The people in the print seem very German / Austrian with lederhosen and dirndls, but this was purchased in the US. It looks handmade. There is a metal side zipper. Overall good condition, but with a few issues. There is a fade line along the bust dart on one side and the waist dart in the back. Some pulls in the material. On the skirt, there is a white line that is a misprint in the material.
There is not much difference in bust and waist measurement - this would probably fit more flatteringly with more dramatic darts in the material (if you are good at sewing) or perhaps just a belt.
