Description
Period bulk cigarette tin for 50 Overstolz cigarettes. These are great little tins for unit level use. Our little reenactment group has one of these that we fill for events. HN was one of the popular brands at the time and frequently advertised in various military themed publications. The top of the lid is embossed with Tropen-Packung which is often said by collectors and vendors to mean Afrika Korps or something along these lines but it was basically a marketing ploy to convince people that this is the best product for soldiers. May be wartime or early postwar.
