Description
Vintage lederhosen small novelty coin purse souvenir. Sei froh, wenn Du die hose voll hast ("be happy when you have full pants") on the pantleg and Grunhain by the snaps. The writing is a bit worn and hard to see. Small holes at the bottoms of the pantlegs, probably for decorative strings. OK condition with some wear and discoloration.
Items like this gained popularity across Germany as the economy improved in the mid to late 1930's and more people started traveling.
These tiny pants are in decent condition; it does show some aging, staining and general wear. There is a pattern printed on the crotch, but it is discolored and hard to see. The zipper is marked "Ultra" and has some rust. Still a fun piece. It measures about 3 5/8" tall and 4" at the widest.
