NNC Navy Nurse Uniform Jacket & Skirt Palm Beach Material

Vintage 1940s WWII Navy Nurse Corps (NNC) uniform jacket and skirt set. It is made out of Palm Beach linen rather than wool.

Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of cuff) - 21 1/2"
Skirt:

Hips - 39"
Length - 26"

The jacket has the U.S. Navy Nurse Uniform label, Sacony tailor label and Desmond's Southern California store label. Size 16 labels in both pieces. The material is Palm Beach linen which is lighter weight than wool and was fairly popular in California and warmer areas. Good condition. A few white smudges. Some split seams and pulling under the arm. No tears or holes. The hem is 2 1/2" so it could be lengthened a little if needed. This material is somewhat delicate as it tends to shred if it gets torn. This is one of the nicer condition Palm Beach pieces I have seen.
