Waist - 37"
Length - 28 1/2"
Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of cuff) - 24 3/4"
TROUSERS:
Waist - 32"
Hips - 42"

*The trousers could be taken down about another 1 1/2".More than likely home made or handmade. Waist can be cinched in to make it smaller. Buttons for suspenders. Hook and eye at the neck. Decent condition. There are scattered stains / discoloration. No attempt has been made to clean this - I do not know if a dry cleaner would be able to take the stains out. The lining has some staining and fading. There are two small holes along the collar. The clasp on the trousers has some rust and is coming loose. Staining to the inside of the trousers.
I have held on to this for a while as many of the materials used are extremely close to being recycled Wehrmacht stock. The lining is a fairly common rayon uniform lining. The gray wool is so close to a standard wartime blanket that if it isn't a blanket, it was made by the same company that made blankets, there are even some blue stripes in hidden areas that also match the blue used on blankets. The red pocket lining appears to be armband material which was actually quite common, I have had early post war tracht made from uniforms where the pockets were made from Nazi flag. I can't say for sure what this is made of but it is tantalizingly close to being stuff made from things. The style of the jacket with the green shoulder accents is usually more typical for Austria. The buttons are made from real Staghorn. - ← Previous Product Next Product →
