A very interesting book. Interesting enough that I debating keeping it, but settled for saving pictures of various bits. This is from 1942 and covers training for zugfuhrers and NCOs. It is quite different from the normal manuals you see. There are basically no diagrams but the book focuses more on theory in a way to not just dictate the rules, but to teach NCOs how to think, explain things, and behavior in general. There is even a section on handling drunken soldiers. It also clarifies the pace for drills. It feels much more like a manual for being a good NCO not just the rules but in the treatment of fellow soldiers. Rather like many of the unwritten rules you might experience in other armies. For example, the bit about drunken soldiers, it specifically explains how to handle the person internally and not to make it an official matter for the man because that is what looking after your komerades is all about. I am confident this will make for interesting study.

All in all, it sort of fills in some of the missing bits lacking from the normal manuals in my opinion. It doesn't say that it is specifically for the Luftwaffe, but it only references Luftwaffe regulations and the place it was printed was a Luftwaffe base. It is worn and a bit beat up, but still decent. It would be a good one to translate.
