Highly detailed and dimensionally accurate .stl file for printing the U.S. Up John pill case. Upjohn was an antibiotic pill intended to be taken if you were wounded. Ideally you should print this from clear resin in a resin printer. To get a remotely good result, you would need a very high resolution printer with very small layers around 0.02mm or smaller if possible and you should use as few supports as possible placed in locations that won't effect the clear effect or look of the printed part. These are very tricky to print and get right. There is a reason I do not sell the printed containers. I played with this for a long time never achieved a good enough result to satisfy my need for perfection. I basically could not get them to print to a quality that I deemed sellable. But I am putting the file out into the world incase someone else has mastered clear resin printing.
There are 4 files included; the top, the bottom, a thin mask to make printing the red text easier, and a supported model ready for printing. The supported model is just an example of how I arranged the supports to get the best results on my machine but it might not be the best way for you to do it with your machine, you will just have to experiment. I have found the clear resin to be very difficult to work with.

Note*: These files have been fine tuned for my printers. I do not guarantee they will print perfectly for you. Achieving the perfect fit of the different bits took time and many test prints.
