Interesting sort of watch chain, the side decorated with the US Army eagle is a small simple hook and the other end of the chain has a double sided clip and a fairly large one at that. I am not sure if this is a watch chain, key chain, tie chain, ID chain, some kind of wallet chain or some combination of one or more of those. It is a rather sophisticated looking piece. The end opposite the red US Army eagle, pulls apart so things like keychains or other similar things could be secured on it.
