Vintage WWII WAAC / WAC (Women's Army Auxiliary Corps and later in the war the Women's Army Corps) khaki Hobby hat. Size 21. The hat has the enlisted WAAC walking eagle hat screwback emblem. The emblem shows some wear.
CONDITION: The strap on the front is a slightly different color than the rest of the hat and looks cleaner (however, it doesn't look replaced as I don't see any odd stitching and the buttons are attached under the sweatband). There are a few stains and some overall discoloration. The hat has been improperly stored for years and is crushed / flattened. There is a name and number written in the hat. The sweatband has some staining.
