Vintage German Bakelite grinder, likely for coffee, but you could really put anything in it. It is sort of made in a way like it is for traveling or camping. The crank is removable and stores in the bottom. To use, you open the top cap and fill it up, close it, install the handle and grind. The ground up coffee falls into the bottom cup. It sort of acts as a transport container as well as a grinder. You could prefill the top with coffee beans and leave them unground until its time for coffee. It is in good condition. I did not test it, but it looks like it would work as intended. It does need a thorough cleaning.
It is unclear when this was made. The company did make these before the war, but I am not sure if they also might have made them after the war also. I did not notice any postwar markings, so I assume it is probably wartime or pre-war.
