Description
Vintage 1940s civilian Navy-themed homefront patch. This is not military; it is not WAVES. It is a civilian patch meant to add on to a blouse or dress to spruce it up. Nautical and sailor themed clothing was popular after WWI and into WWII. OK condition. There is a stain from glue on the back that shows through on the front (it was probably once part of a scrapbook). I have not attempted to clean it.
