    Vintage 1940s dark red velvet gown.

    MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
    Bust - 36"
    Waist - 28"
    Hips - 36 1/2"
    Length - 49"
    Shoulder seam to end of cuff - 20 1/4"

    The dress does not have any give, so make sure you are smaller than the listed measurements. Metal side zipper. The dress belonged to a theater company in Alabama, so there have been some modifications to it. The front panel was added and the sewing around it is not the best. There are a few small holes in the lace insert and in the material surrounding it (not too detracting). There is a repair under one arm. On one side, the ruching has come undone and has left some small holes in the material. There are some other areas of wonky stitching and some seam separation. Shoulder pads have also been added.
