German Black Velvet Dress with Sequin Bow

Vintage 1930s / 1940s German black velvet dress.

End of Sleeve - 10 1/2"

**there is extra material on the belt to make take it out another almost 4"

There are NO side openings - which means the dress must be able to slip on over your head. Another thing that is fairly common with German dresses of the era is that the collar and sleeves are fairly tight.

Nice gold colored sequin bow. Short sleeve dress with poof sleeves. Comes with the belt, but the buckle doesn't stay closed very well (it looks like the clasp is broken). The buckle is missing rhinestones and has some discoloration. Decent condition. There are some repairs and some stress on the seams. Small tear on the inside seam of one sleeve. Snaps at the back of the neck (buttons are just decorative).The top button is missing. Some of the snaps do not stay closed. There is a small tear under the snaps.
