German Blue Dress with White Trim and Detachable Collar

Vintage 1930s / 1940s German blue polka dot dress with detachable collar.

Bust - 36"
Waist - 28" 
Hips - 41" 
Length - 40"
Neck - 15"

Interesting handmade dress. Nice lace triangle designs on the collar and the hem. There is a snap in collar (she used way too many snaps to attach it). The dress can be worn with or without the collar, giving it a more versatile look.

Decent condition with with staining and flaws. The collar buttons up, but is missing the top button. There is some extra material used to stiffen the collar that is a little misshapen. It has a few brown stains (I did not make any attempt to launder it as I am not sure on the material content - it feels like artificial silk). Some loose stitching.  Mewa brand side metal zipper.
