Original 1940's German birthday cake sized candles in the cardboard box. They could be early post war but did come from the remains of a shop that hoarded stuff during the war and went out of business shortly after. I do not know how many candles are in the box, but it is quite a few. The candles are cheaply made and the box corner is torn. I have had these for years now and still haven't figured out exactly the best way to utilize them, it can be your quandary now.
