German Striped Gray Top and Skirt Set

Vintage 1940s German gray striped top and skirt outfit.

TOP:
Bust - 36"

Sleeve (shoulder seam to cuff) - 24"
Sleeve Cuff Opening (when buttoned) - 6 1/2"
SKIRT:
Waist - 25"

Length - 28"

This outfit may be handmade. There is a gold coin pin attached to the pocket. This is how I bought it, so I left it there. There is a size 38 tag sewn in the neck. The top has an attached belt that buckles in the back. The buttons are the front are different from the ones on the sleeves (they are different sizes and different styles, but still go together fine).

The skirt has a zipper on the side. There is a gray trim / lining material on the inside waist on the skirt. It is a bit wrinkly, so it doesn't want to lay right.

There are a few pulls in the material. The back shoulder has a light stain. There looks to be some general discoloration from age. Light staining under the arms. Some staining and discoloration on the collar.  Small spot on the button of the jacket. I have not laundered or attempted to clean this piece.
