Satin Red and Black Jacket and Pants Loungewear Set

Vintage 1940s satin loungewear set. Quilted jacket, pants and a belt.

Super cute set! Nice bright red quilted jacket with black trim. One large pocket. Material has a shine to it. It is a bright red color - some photos make it look more orange than it actually is. The jacket closes with a snap and there are ties inside to help it stay closed. An extra hole has been punched in the belt to make it smaller.

OK condition. Wearable but with some issues. The pants snap up both sides - some of the snaps are coming loose and tearing the material. There are some small repairs around a few snaps. You have to be very careful unsnapping them or the material will tear! There is loose stitching under the side openings. A few small spots of wear and tiny holes. There are two holes near the crotch. Some loose stitching on the seam of the crotch. The pantlegs have come unhemmed and need re-stitched. 

Some wear on the ends of the sleeves. It is hard to tell if there is discoloration of if its just the shine of the material. A couple smudges and a few pulls in the material. Small tear in the red material on the inside edge. Small area of loose stitching on the quilted squares.
