Description
Original WWII US Navy WAVES service hat for enlisted personnel. It comes with both the dark blue and the white toppers (covers) that snap into the brim. It is a size 22 1/2. It is named to Lucille G Formanek. She sewed her name tag into the white cover many times. Both WAVES labels are present.
Good condition with some wear. Both covers have some discoloration and light stains. I have not tried to launder them, but I am fairly confident they can be cleaned up nicely. The inside has some sweat stains. The white cover has a lot of wear and tear on the inside. It is a little wrinkly from storage.
