Vintage WWII American Red Cross Staff Assistance Corps uniform dress.
MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
Bust - 34"
Waist - 25"
Hips - 32"
Length - 45 3/4"The yellow color indicates staff assistance corps. Usually the uniforms are long sleeve, you don't see as many short sleeve of this branch as you do gray lady or canteen corps. It buttons down the front with shank buttons and cotter pins (easily removable for washing). The staff assistance corps Sterling marked pin is above the Red Cross patch on the chest pocket. The sleeve looks like it may have had a circular patch on it at one point in time. The white collar shows some wear and repairs. Part of the white collar is actually sewn into the yellow. Bruck's Size 32 label. The label is torn.
