If you have ever wondered why Germans do not think much of American house construction, perhaps this book will help explain a few things. This is literally an entire book about a single form of framing joint. Complete with match, load, strain, just far far more information than is needed. I fully expected it would have been about more, but after closer inspection, it was just all about this one hyper specific subject. It was clearly a pressing concern in 1944 Germany. Decent condition with some wear and discoloration.
