Air Tight Large Ammo Box German Style

Description
I am not entirely sure what this box is. It is made like the WWII German model 41 can, but the hardware seems slightly odd to me. It is painted a decent tan color which was over painted black outside. This could be early post war eastern block, Czech or East German, maybe Polish. It is a very nice box that is very German in its style. It still has a good rubber seal.
