German aluminum bread/sandwich tin. It is in decent condition with some light dents and dings. The bottom has some discoloration.
A good bread bag stuffer to keep your sandwich safe. These were an important part of everyday life for Germans, so it is no wonder they found their way to the front lines as well. They were even being produced as early as WWI.
