Description
Vintage 1940s WWII American Red Cross knit scarf. These were knitted by volunteers and sent to the troops via the Red Cross. The label is from the Braxton County Chapter Sutton. W. Va.
Overall fairly good condition. The label has some staining. The scarf looks like it has be washed a few times and is quite fuzzy. Some color variation throughout. The scarf measures about 54 inches long and 9" across at one end and 10 1/2" across at the other end. The measurements are approximate as the scarf is stretchy.
