Description
Vintage WWII Army Air Corps Materiel Command sweetheart double pin. The army air corps insignia pin is attached to a pin of the distinctive unit insignia (DUI) for Materiel Command. The headquarters was at Wright-Patterson base in Ohio.
The pins are marked on the back. The marking on the air corps insignia is hard to read; the back of the DUI reads, "Le Velle & Co. Washington, DC. Phila, PA." It is in decent condition with some wear and tarnishing.
