Description
Large vintage Bakelite letter box mailbox. I believe these may be post war Czech, but I do not have any information on them. They have no markings to indicate when they were made or where. I just know it is a super cool item for Bakelite fans. This one is in fairly good condition. The Bakelite is fine, however, someone added a little closure to attach a lock, probably because they lost the key. The aluminum bits have also been stripped from the inside. Basically this was a plate backing for the name window.
