New made Bakelite soldaten pfeiffe marked "Deutsche Wertarbeit D.R.P.ang." Price is for one. Beautiful little pipes similar in size to typical German soldiers pipes of the era. Easily fits into a pocket. The inside diameter of the bowl is about 5/8". These are newly made and the Bakelite material is a modern version designed without the harsh chemicals found in certain types of Bakelite. There were some Bakelite pipes during the war, but I have only come across a few in the wild.
These are made to be cleaned with hot water rather than using filters. There is a small metal trap piece where the stem attaches to the bowl which catches some of the tar. Each pipe comes with a little cleaning tool for the holes in the trap filter and a few extra gaskets.
This is an ideal pipe for reenacting. A very nice pipe but also new, so you don't feel as bad about it getting beat up in your pocket at a tactical.
