    Vintage 1940s black rayon skirt suit with decorative soutache and beading.

     

    MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
    TOP:
    Bust - 40"
    Waist - 34"
    Length - 24"
    SKIRT:
    Waist - 32" 
    Hips - 43" 
    Length - 26 1/2" 

     

    Nice lightweight outfit. New York Creation label. Buttons down the front with a hook and eye at the waist. Sewn in shoulder pads.

     

    Decent, wearable condition but it does have some issues. Some pulls in the material in both the top and skirt. Small staining / light fade on the arms. Wear to the collar. Marks on the back shoulder areas and on the skirt (hanger?).  Some split seams on the skirt (one has been repaired). A few tiny holes in the skirt and one on the top.  White smudges. The snap needs restitched at the waist.
