An interesting example of earmuffs made with a sort of brown velvet that is very typical for SA or political stuff. I know that earmuffs were made for the political organization as they were advertised directly to them; this could be the first time I have found what I believe are those particular earmuffs. There is some rust on the steel and some rust staining on the trim of the earmuffs themselves. The brown cloth is more or less identical to the material used on the band of political visor hats.
I have handled hundreds of original earmuffs from all across Germany; this is the only time I have ever found the brown ones.
