German - Slovakian dictionary book from 1941. In good condition with some wear. This is made like a typical dictionary; the front half is German to Slovakian and the back half is Slovakian to German. Printed in Bratislava. It is interesting piece of history as Germany occupied the rest of Czechoslovakia and formed the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, Slovakia declared independence and joined the Axis. It was basically done in conjunction with the German efforts to redraw Europe's boarders along ethnic lines, which is actually reflected in many borders today.
