Deutsche Jugendherbergen Wool Blanket

Wool Deutsche Jugendherbergen (German Youth Hostel) blanket. Has some staining and some fraying along the top and bottom edges. The bottom edge is marked fussende (foot end) so you don't have to smell the last persons feet. These are a bit difficult to date as they would have remained in use for many decades. The manufacturing of the blanket is typical of early to mid 20th century. There was a fairly large growth for the DJH in the 1930's and again in the 1950's. As much as I would like to say for sure these are from the 1930s, I know enough about blankets to say there is a chance they could be from the 1950s and I can't find anything definitive. I did find a photo with this blanket in it which appears to be pre war, but I still can't rule out the possibility that it is from later. Everything else about the photo is pretty typical of the 1930s.
