Description
Nice larger desk mounted type Bakelite pencil sharpener made by Faber Castell. It is in good condition but is missing the metal clamp attachment that would allow you to fasten it to a table. Seems to be working. It has neat spring loaded pencil feeder so you basically load your pencil in and then all you have to worry about is turning the handle. This style of sharpener did exist in the 1930's but was also produced after the war. This one has a good look for the 30's but I can not date it precisely. I can just say it doesn't have any of the features I have seen on post war ones. It measures about 5" tall and the base is about 4 1/8" by 3".
