Description
Original German 5 meter tape measure. The tape is steel. The handle is green painted wood. It is unmarked, but the way this one is made makes me think it is likely military. I have had a few military marked versions and this one has a lot in common with those. It might need a little oil, but it is in rather good condition. The Wehrmacht did use these, typically for building positions or laying mine fields.
