    Vintage 1930s or earlier German traditional (tracht) dirndl blouse. 

     

    MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
    Bust - 41"
    Waist - 33"
    Length - 16"

    This short blouse is meant to be worn with a high waisted skirt and apron. It can also be worn with a white undershirt. The material has a nice pattern and iridescent shine to it. It closes with 3 buttons and a hook and eye. The color is a brown / tan (the photos give it a slightly more orange hue than it really is). The buttons are steinnuss.

    It is in good condition overall. There is some fading to the inside lining. The white trim on the end of the sleeves has some staining. The white trim on the cuffs looks to have been added later (it looks newer than the rest of the garment).
