Description
Original German folding pocket celluloid comb. It looks like the last teeth on each end are broken off. It is still usable as-is (although it is delicate). Closed, the comb measures about 3 1/2" long.
I see a lot of this exact comb being dug up on eastern front battle fields. As far as I am concerned, these are the comb of the the German soldier even if it wasn't an official issued item. I can understand why so many men would have chosen this one, since it folds up small and protects the comb from damage in your pocket.
