German Light Blue Dirndl and Apron

Vintage 1930s / 1940s German blue dirndl with apron.

Nice handmade dirndl with rick-rack trim. Great metal buttons. It is a bit short-waisted, but there is extra material at the waist that it could be taken down a little. The skirt is an off-white natural linen color. Could be worn by itself as a dress or with an apron as a dirndl.

The apron did not come with it originally; I was trying to find a blue apron, but all I could find was the yellow one and it looked cute together - almost giving Snow White vibes. I choose yellow as it reminded me of this Bertesgadener dirndl we sold years ago. The apron is included, but is newer than the dress. The apron is also a bit longer than it should be.


Overall good condition. The dress has some wear along the seams on the blouse and a small stain at the waist where the hook and eye is.  The inside of the apron has some white smudges.
