Description
Vintage 1930s / 1940s German traditional knit sweater. It is stretchy.
MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
Bust - 38"-40"
Waist - 32" maximum
Length - 19.5"
Sleeve (shoulder seam to end of cuff) - 25 1/2"Nice black wool knit sweater with green and red trim. Metal edelweiss buttons. Green ties at the collar and at the waist. The waist is tailored in to give it a flattering look. Super cute sweater that gained popularity in the 1930s and was made for many decades after. It was popular with the BDM as well and was an approved garment for certain regions.
Fairly good condition. There is a repair on one sleeve (not very noticeable). There are pulls in the material. Some fraying on the green ties. Some wear on the chest by the green collar.
