    Vintage 1940s German wedding gown.

     

    MEASUREMENTS (approximate):
    Bust - 38"
    Waist - 30"
    Hips - 39"
    Length - 51 1/2"
    Neck - 14 1/2"

     

    This dress came from Regensburg and I was told it dated to 1943. There are lovely clear buttons and the back of the neck and decorative ruching on the front and shoulder areas. Decorative lace at the collar. It closes on the side with snaps and has an attached belt.

     

    CONDITION: Ok. It has a lot of water staining (it was stored near an orange dress and got rained on). The stains are relatively recent and I have made no attempt to clean it. There are some tiny holes near the armpits and holes along the waist where the belt was stitched.
