  • Description

Decent example of a German heavy lambskin coat which was likely captured and worn by a G.I. in an armored unit. There is triangular shaped pattern of stitch holes where a patch used to be and it happens to match perfectly to an armored patch (patch not included). It has markings on the inside pocket with clear size markings, but the maker stamp is a bit light.

The collar appears to have been intentionally removed. The leather is holding together but there are some rips in the strips of leather that cover the seams. The seams are still held together, it's just the reinforcement material over the seam that has issues. The bottom button loop is detached on the bottom and needs restitched. Overall general wear, some staining/dirt and signs of use.

The chest measures about 44" - however there is sheep's wool lining the inside and it is meant to fit over your uniform, so your chest measurement must be quite a bit smaller to actually wear it.
