Description
Vintage WWI German "Gold gab ich für Eisen" (I gave gold for iron") 1914 women's ring. This referred to the idea of donating gold and jewelry to finance the war. In return, the donor received iron jewelry. It looks like it has the initials as well. It is a very small see (see photo of ring on the sizing tool). It does have some wear, but is in decent, wearable shape.
