Description
Vintage towel with the Madsack & Co. company name woven into the red stripe. Madsack & Co is a German media company from Hanover that started printing newspapers in 1893. This towel is probably postwar (from the 60's?) but these types of towels were quite popular for many decades even before the war as well. Either made as advertising or more likely to prevent theft at the factory. There are a few areas where the material has worn thin, creating tiny holes. It has a little dirt from storage. There is a loop to hang it on both ends.
