Description
Pre war Grabaty "Meine Passion" cigarette tin in really good condition, not perfect but rather close to that. The Garbaty family was Jewish and they were forced to sell everything off in 1938, after which most of the family immigrated to the USA. The factory survived the bombings, but fighting in the city lead to it being burnt out and was repaired post war to house a different cigarette company under the GDR. In its prime days it was something of a luxury brand which was also sold internationally.
