Very nice example of an original MG34 Bakelite butt in fairly good condition. It does show some wear, but it is one of the nicer condition ones I have ever seen. It still has a fair amount of shine in the Bakelite where most have been so heavily worn as to be dull in appearance. This does also have the metal pieces. The butt does have a waffen amt but no other markings, so it was likely an armorers spare. The steel collar does have a serial number 3188 stamped in it. Again, this looks like it may have been an armorers serial number. All in all, it is an extremely good example.
This one came out of my personal collection of bits as I needed to clean some things out. I've had this maybe 5 years and even when I bought it, I think I paid 650 and now all parts of this type have gone absolutely crazy. I am sure in another 5 years I will kick myself for selling this one now.
