Original Wehrmacht MN42 matching mess kit, the lid is marked and but the bottom is not, which is fairly common for MN. They were sporadic with their markings. The paint color and wear make it quite obvious that this is a matched set. Its worn and used and needs a cleaning. No serious damage, mostly just dirty. It looks like it was used as a white wash bucket. Would be good for reenacting or for display on a salty mannequin.
