Description
Original 1920's-1930's German glass thermos with an orange steel base and a red Bakelite cup in it's cardboard box. Made from Panzerglas (this one is not marked as such, but I have seen the same material on other thermoses that were labeled). It is supposedly very durable, I guess it has lasted this long, so maybe there is something to it.
It is in good condition; the glass is nice, the Bakelite is nice and the steel is nice with just a little rust and wear. With a little cleaning and a cork, this would be great for events. There is a slight rattling noise coming from the steel part, probably some internal rust flakes. It stands a little over 8" tall and the bottom is about 2 1/2" in diameter. Probably holds about 8oz.
